The first Blackmon Auction was conducted in 1938. Three generations later, Blackmon remains rooted in the same values it was built on: relationships, integrity, and customer service. We will always be grateful to Mr. Eddie Blackmon Sr., our founder, and Mr. Tom Blackmon Sr., who helped grow the company from a regional farm auction business into an internationally respected auction company.

Today, Blackmon Auctions is proud to be part of the Ritchie Bros. family and the broader RB Global portfolio of brands, combining our local relationships and decades of auction expertise with the strength, reach, and resources of a global marketplace leader. While we are growing alongside Ritchie Bros., our commitment to the customers and communities we’ve served for generations remains unchanged.

Our full-time employees average more than 15 years of service, with some team members serving more than 25 years. That experience allows us to treat every auction with the same level of care and attention as if it were our own.
