One Owner Auction - Purpose Wrecker Sales

Purpose Wrecker Sales, one of the preferred distributors of towing and recovery equipment in North America, had a fire last year. A used unit sparked and caught fire and thus caused damage to seven units. In order to complete the process of going through the insurance process and ultimate liquidation of these, these seven units must be sold through this auction. One of the units has significant damage to hubs and some hydraulics - specifics are listed for each item - but most only had slight heat and soot damage yet are also required to go through this process. Due to insurance regulations these trucks will carry “salvage” titles even though some are basically “new” (a couple are used). For this same reason Purpose nor Blackmon are able to offer any warranty on these items. Most components were not damaged (engines, transmissions, etc.) and therefore are likely available for warranty - Blackmon nor Purpose can guarantee that but can advise. Purpose Wrecker is cleaning and polishing what they can but are leaving the damage visible for the buyers to inspect - they will not fix the hydraulics on one of the heavys nor the hubs so you can see for yourself, and on most of the rollbacks the only damage was some warped visors and stained light bars which you will be able to see. Inspection
You may inspect items from 8 AM to 4 PM the day before the auction on Monday, April 5; or by contacting Billy Hartnedy at (501) 352-4703 or billy@blackmonauctions.com to schedule an appointment.
Terms
There will be 6% buyer’s premium on all items sold (additional 4% online). No sales tax will be charged at this auction. Items must be paid for the day of the auction unless you have made other arrangements in advance with Blackmon Auctions. We accept credit cards, cash, or checks with a letter of credit from your bank.
Loadout
All small purchases need to be removed by Thursday, April 8 and larger items need to be removed by Friday, April 9. The yard will be open from 8 AM to 4:45 PM on Tuesday, April 6 through April 8 and until 3 PM on April 9. A loader will be onsite until 12 PM on April 9 to assist in loading items with the possibility of a portable loading dock. Any items that will require additional services will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Jinx Hutchins is liquidating his pipeline company. Hutchins Welding is a family-owned and hands-on operation. The equipment, trucks, trailers, and support items are well-maintained and clean (see feature image of the equipment kept under a shed). Come for good stuff!
